Time to turn a new page... Mood
Sunday, June 14, 2009 | A Positive story

I have been for my first bike ride, (Saturday, June the 13th/09) since 2006 and it felt great. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, cardio sucked big time and legs felt like mush, for the riders here, yes my butt hurts today, you all know that pain.

It was just a ride on sandy roads, a ride around the block, eh in the country we have BIG BLOCKS, close to 15 miles. So it was not a century, nor was it a ride on a knarly singletrack, but it was me, in the saddle!!!!! YAY!!!

:)

A ride is a ride and I will always remember my first spin around the block after my DVT. It was liberating and Joyous! I am happy for you.

way to go....... it just gets better from here on in. I got out on the roadbike this weekend too..... did 100 miles in the mtns in scorching hot sunshine.
Tonight raced a time trial with some good climbing and did some of it in the rain.

it's still too early to do that,
    OH MY GOSH!!!
I will be simply riding for a little while more, no bunnyhops nor manual nor...
    Just pedal.

OK, tooth extraction went well, I hope this is the last of my medical for a while, I know this should be just a minor setback for my road to recovery.
Expect to be back on the bike in two days, I HOPE!!!!
