I was struck by a pick up truck as a pedestrian in 1999 in Corpus Christi Tx .... the ER sent me home saying I was bruised and sprained.... when in fact I had 2 broken left ribs, fractured left hip and 2dislocated cervical vertebra ... which I will be having major surgery on in April!!...

Open Degenerative Joint Disease

In 1999 I was hit by a pick- up truck as a pedestrian, the ER sent me home and said all I had was a bad concussion, and was bruised and sprained. Two years later they found that I had suffered two broken ribs, a fractured left hip and dislocated C3 & C4 vertebraes. I now suffer from degenerative Disc dDsease, Osteo Arthritis, Stenosis and C5 is now moving out of place. In 2005 they found that I also had a brain tumor. I barely skirted having to have brain surgery.

In 1982 I found my best friend dead. We were less than 24 hours apart in age! I still feel guilty about it, I shouldn't have left town. In 1990, my Mom died from cancer. In 2001, my only brother died from cancer. In 2005, my Dad died, he was 80. That just leaves me and my sister. I am very slone!
