Close Fibromyalgia
I was DX with fibro in Sept/07. Had been suffing for about 1 1/2 years. My brother contracted Reblla from his baby shots at 6 months old. Leaving him with brain damage and a seizure disorder.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- Cymbalta makes me sleepy so I take it in the evening. Which is good and bad. Good because I can finally find a position and sleep. But when I get up the pain comes back.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- I was put on this med for break through pain three times a day. What break through pain? So far I have never been pain free!
Close Epilepsy & Seizures
When my mom died in 2003 I started taking care of my brother that is totally disabled. I love him and he is a joy to care for. He has brain damage and a seizure disorder.
Treatments
- Brushing Therapy Working / Worked
- keeps him calm and seems to have better days.
- Keppra Working / Worked
- Saved the day for us at the point we were at. He does have a lot of UTI's on this drug though. So lots of water for him.
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- Well well for us with little to no side effects.
- Vagus nerve stimulation Working / Worked
- Wonderful his seizures are very light after having this inplanted.
