Close Brain Injury
I am the mother of a 23 year old son who was hit by a car in Florida in October of 2006. I was told at the very begining that there was no hope. They did brain surgery and took off a blood clot, we had him transfered to Illinois and now he is lives in a skilled facility in Lincoln Illinois. They have done nothing to wake him up they told me today that they don't think there is any hope. He opens his eyes and is breathing on his own. I just need some help and don't know where to go.

I have a son who has been in a coma for over 2 years. He was hit by a car in Florida crossing a street he has a tramatic brain injury. His name is Larry and he is 23 I have 2 other children another son 21 in the air force and a daughter 18. I am looking for some guidence and maybe some advice.
