My chest hurts alot right behind the breast bone. It's tolerable...but last night I got scared because I had some really sharp pain radiate to under my right arm and this is the same place I had extremely SEVERE pain for 4 days straight in mid-August.
I think it is possibly pain related to GERD and hiatal hernia. I've been having painful swallowing, feeling like food is stuck in my esophagus and shortness of breath...which are all the same symptoms I had before ..and so I had to get an upper endoscopy with balloon dilation to stretch my esophagus..that was in March or April... When I went back to the G.I doc, he said he was concerned my symptoms returned so quickly and scheduled another upper endoscopy with balloon dilation..and he's going to take biopsies again.
I had biopsies twice before, and they were negative for cancer. But, since my symptoms come back so quickly..I am wondering if it's getting worse. I worry about getting either lung cancer or esophageal cancer because I grew up with parents that smoked very heavily inside the house for...23 years! I hear second hand smoke is more harmful.
I did not take any pain medicine last night and when I woke up this morning I felt like I was hit by a car..very sore and even my voice is really hoarse.
After the upper endoscopy...I'm going to order more of the Fibro AMJ day time and night time. I ran out of it around the end of July, and I've been so much worse since then, so I really think that stuff was helping.. I know the night time one was helping because I was sleeping better, but the daytime one I wasn't sure about...I still had lots of pain, but I didn't have to take any other pain relievers with it because the pain was usually tolerable enough as long as I was at home... There were days I had to take an additional pain reliever, but not every day like now!
About an hour before it's time to take more pain releiver, I start feeling the pain stronger and stronger - headache pain, neck and shoulder pain...
As for the chest pain...NOTHING HELPS!!!!!!!!
