I have always lived in Iowa (well besides a brief 6 month stay in Wisconsin) and have lots of family close, which is nice. I've been married for 6 years to a super man - we truly enjoy our life together, but agree we'd like to have children someday . . .hopefully soon. I work as an IT support tech, which is funny as I went to school to be an elementary teacher.

I like to work out - elipticals are my favorite. I also enjoy going on walks & dancing. I like to read and spend time with family, and play with my nieces. I used to enjoy a good cup of coffee & espresso drinks, but now have basically cut them out . . .still cheat once n awhile.

Well hello there missy, how have you been? So are you trying au natural, or are you on meds? Please update me on what's going on. :) I'm fantastic, and my belly is definitely starting to pooch, but I still think it just looks fat. LOL... I haven't had random people ask if I'm pregnant yet, so I figure it just looks like fat right now.

Thanks for the prayers. Looks like it just wasn't enough. BFN this morning. I kept another test on the off chance I tested too early. But I have a feeling it's right. Thanks anyways.

Close Infertility
Been married for 6 years and off birth control for 4 1/2. I have very irregular cycles, so there was no way to really try - don't even know if I was ovulating. Last summer (07)I started clomid for 4 cycles. Ovulated every time, but no luck. Now I've started metformin & femara. Got pregnant once with IUI, but that ended in miscarriage.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- Got pregnant once, but miscarried! Hoping it works again.
- Clomid Not Working
- I took 50mg days 5-9 for 4 cycles. I ovulated each time, but never conceived.
- Femara Working / Worked
- Folic Acid Too Soon to Tell
- Just take as a supplement, not for treatment
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Too Soon to Tell
- I guess both tubes are open now! YEA!
- Metformin Too Soon to Tell
- Started last month; now taking 1500 mg/day
Close Miscarriage
Just got pregnant for the first time, but miscarried at 5 weeks.
