helping kids at school is nervous feeling at first but when an hour as passed inends up being fun.i go 2 mornings a week and enjoying ever minute.

I don't know if you realize how much it means to the kids to have someone come in and work with them. They know you are not getting paid, that this isn't your "job". They know you are there only because you want to be and because you care about them. I used to work in an elementary school and heard what the kids said about the volunteers who spent time with them. Many don't get attention they need so badly, at school or at home. You are making a difference in the lives of young people
