I have had CFS for three and a half years. I live alone and have not had much medical treatment since I did not have medical insurance when I became ill. I recieve SSDI and will qualify for Medicare 5/1/09. Not able to do much. Can drive my car a little and computer stuff(a new laptop has really helped).

Huge grassroots advocate for the National CFIDS Association. I write letters weekly especially to the President, VP, my congressman and Senators, the media and anyone else who will listen including the new Secretary of HHS Kathleen Sebelius.
