Single parent of two grown sons and 1 grandson. Being Christ-like defines what I want to be. I am original from San Diego. I have been across the states three or four times and visited many wonderful places. I have my B.S. in Computer Science. Daddy God is Love and changing my life. I am not perfect but being perfected in that my actions hopefully are Love. I have lost a brother '89 and a sister'05 tragically. Both are awaiting to awake on that Day.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI was dx in Dec 2006 but already disabled from multiple symptoms in 1993 of FMS and ME/CFS. My GP believes I had MS for 15 years and was misdiagnosed. I also heard from a MS doctor that I could have both at the same time. Treating each day as a new normal and live it to its fullest.
Treatments
- Avonex Somewhat Helpful
- Weekly injection. The side effects are flu like symptoms for one day. Fever between 101-102 degrees. I am not sure if it is working. I have been on it for over 10 months but find legs getting weaker and changes in my eyes. I did have progression in 2008. Finding side effects milder but becoming more symptomatic. In a wheelchair when out of house.
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- I was in PT but it was a struggle trying to arrange for transportation three times a week. I figure the exercises that had me do, I could do them at home. Just being dragged out to do them was exhausting me. I could do them at home. I have been referred (1-8-08) again for PT for walking. I am doing this at home. I have all I need here.
- Solumedrol Somewhat Helpful
- My symptoms treated by this I had for many years. I don't think that this helps that. It leaves me very weak after doing IV. I only do this if it is really bad. I am so hard to stick.
- Swimming Considering
- Did not get to swim at all last year because pool was never ready to go. I hope this year that someone can help me get it ready so I can swim.
Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
1994 dx with ME/CFS/FMS/TMJ. Received SSD in 1994 disabled in 1993. I have a long list of what I'm allergic plus chemical sensitivities.
Treatments
Open Osteoporosis
I was dx with Osteoporosis at the same time as MS in Dec 2006. I found out I have extensively. Right hip -4, spine -3.5. Now Osteopenia as of 8/09.
Treatments
- Bioidentical Hormones Working / Worked
- I am taking natural progesterone cream that has no herbals in it. I apply 132th of a teaspoon to areas of neck legs arms chest on the veins rotating areas morning and evening. I take it for 21 days and then break for 7 days. Now on it for 8 months and bone density proved it is working and building bone. No side effects.
- Calcium Working / Worked
- It is working. Taking 1500 mg. also Vit D 1000, Vit D3 1000. Will continue to keep improving bone density.
- Fosamax Too Soon to Tell
- Very concern because of GERD and had troubles with many medications before. I will give it a try and see what happens. On second month. I quit taking Fosamax a couple months ago. Doctor advise to stay on vitamin supplements and bio-identical cream. No need for Fosamax.
Open Other Eye Problems
Type: Near-sightedness (myopia)Optic Neuritis, loss of acuity of vision
