I just moved to Florida March 1st (2009). Started with a new Pdoc and he changed my diagnosis! I have Bipolar NOS! Not Cyclothymia & Not Major Depression. He's going to change my meds gradually & already started me on Lithium. He also thinks I have epilepsy of some sort. He is an expert in the field and I like and trust him already.

Good luck with your new home and life in Florida. Hope you make lots of friends. Love, MomVickie
I am glad to hear from you, I have wondered what was going on. Boy that is a big move. Take care!
Moving is difficult, then getting to know the area etc. One of the very stressful things on a list somewhere, near the top. Glad your back with us know. We can give you a hug from anywhere.
Good Luck on your Move, my prayer's are with you and your husband, and I hope you love it down there. Love, Vickie
I downsized things by half when we moved, as we downsized where we now live. Now a couple of years have passed, on paper only, not in actual age, and my life has changed so much. There is so much craft things I dont seem interested in anymore, so may downsize it again. Give to a friend who has a daughter married to a minister in a poor country church, and the ladies use them to do things for stalls etc. Best place for it to go when I do. By the way, unpacking isnt good either if that cheers you up. LOL
My new Pdoc believes that my seizure-like activity may actually be epilepsy and NOT biologically induced (ex: viral damage). He is surprised that the numerous Drs I had in NY gave up so soon because they couldn't find anything in any of the tests or MRIs. He said quite often the tests find nothing because there is no epileptic activity at the time. He said I also have Bipolar Disorder-NOS. Inkspring
4/15/09 I moved to FL and saw my new Pdoc in mid-March 2009. He gave me a new diagnosis--Bipolar NOS. He's an expert in the field and so much in my life now makes sense.
Support Communities have encouraged me and had positive impacts on my life. It helps sometimes to view similar experiences to mine through another person's eyes--their perspective. I went through a life or death crisis and having a community to talk to who understood my feelings and conflicting thoughts and feelings was an immense help.
