Sorry I have not been on here much, but have started my new job at the school(teaching assistant) and its going realy well. I work with two boys one age 7 and the other age 10, they both have dyslexia like me, The 10 year old would not even look at me in the class room, but now he always smiles and says thank you for helping him.The 7 year lod on the other hand still dont want to look at me, but I'm hoping to change that this week for he needs to learn his alpabet and for this he needs a one to one and thats me, so hopefuly he too will get to like me in the same way. I love this job and its made such a difference to the way I see myself, not just dyslexic but knowing I can do some good and pass on my confidence. HUGS JAA

Thank you for writing, my son is on 54mgs. of concerta and I don't like it , I don't like giving my child med. in general and I pray all the time for God to help him, I'm thinking of giving homepathic sulphur to him for adhd I read in a natural doc.book where there was some success with it, with no side effects. Did you read my post on a world news report that I saw at my ent ,stating kids that had their tonsils removed (only if needed for health reasons of course) was helping kids that had adhd? Also does your kids get up every morning acting wild, like being loud and silly, I guess for the attention, my son gets out of bed being annoying and causes a ruckus every morning and doesn't care that that he was punished or talked to the morning before for the same thing, it's driving us nuts. He loves music and thats great but he wants to sing it to you no matter what we're doing like at the table or during homework whatever. Please don't get affended it's just I don't know where adhd begins or ends I mean I know he can inherit some of this but how much is the disease I'm wondering.

Feeling overwhelmed is a serious thing. I hope that you are able to get some practical help and some time out for yourself to do the things that you enjoy. Me, I'm VERY happy right now. Had my engagement party last night and saw all the family and friends in the same building! weird and really fun!
