I play softball, avid library goer, love history and current events. Water sports are a must. Would love to learn how to knit. Hope to sky dive one day before my end of days is upon me. Love books. One I am presently reading is "Thousand Splendid Suns". I also enjoy the author Joel Rosenberg. I am an Atheist, yet Religion is a big facination of mine. Food is about the only vice I'm still actively pursuing so it really ticked me off to hear I was diabetic, my game plan is to lose a ton of weight, get stuff under control so I can go off meds and then have one day a week where I go nuts with the goodies, can pay for my sins the other six...
I didn't either until Labor Day when I wen to the ER for back and rib pain...but hey I still am trying to think of ways to eat chocolate...last week-end my daughter and I ate at subway one day and it sent my blood sugars nuts, two days later I got one of those mocha/latte/blizzard things at Dairy Queen and it was not as bad as the freakin subway ...guess where I'm going the next time I want to be bad...
Have 1 Uncle who was Marine recon NAM, An unlce who is retired LTCol Army, Grandfather retired Navy, Great Uncle retired Navy, and my Fiance is Presently doing his fourth tour in the middle east as a Army Ranger. I have other family that has served in the middle east recently and presently.
Started with my grandmother whom was my other half up until We moved who passed away in April 2005 of Lung cancer. Than my grandpa in DEC 2005, 3 Best friends in a drunk driving accident in January 2006, My grandpas wife (grandmother)in November 2007. I have an issue with denial when it comes to death. Don't know how else to cope.
