Well, I did my job training, and I did two of my shifts... but I honestly just was not getting that job. It wasn't a good fit, I guess. Only once before has that happened to me - when I tried carpet cleaning. (Horrible that.) But this... well, I just didn't expect it to be so challenging! And I wanted a nice, low-stress job, which this was not by any stretch of the imagination. So, today - by mutual agreement between myself and my boss - was my last day. I guess I can look at it this way: I'll be getting paid for about 22 hours (I think - can't remember what I just told Chiari like an hour ago) at a union rate! So that's good.
Not much else on the go here... trying to find a buyer for my landlord's needlepoint. He says if I sell it, I can keep any profit I make. Good deal. I don't know anything about needlepoint though, but quite honestly, what he paid for them, I think was too much. I have my doubts that I'll make any profit at all. But I'll do my best!
Another greeting card company has invited me to send in samples of my wildlife art, so that's positive. It's just a matter of getting around to deciding which ones to send, and having them printed (this place wants actual 4 x 6 prints) in order to send them there. But, it is a Canadian company, so that's good.
Nothing much else I'm afraid. Hope you are all doing well. I'm tired - feel like I need a nap.
