Welcome to stepfamilies! I also, understand a little of what you are going through with the bio-mom. She fudged so many reading homework assignments for my ss that now he is at least 2 years behind with his reading. AHH!! Vent any time you like. You are not alone! :))

- This is what I use now. I am at the 250 dose and up it to 500 in the springtime although nothing really works then except Albuterol.
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- It works, however I always get the shakes when I use it and I hate that.
- Breathing Exercises Working / Worked
- I sing with a church choir and a large choral group. It helps.
- Flovent Working / Worked
- It worked for me for a while and then stopped working.
- Singulair Working / Worked
- I take this daily too and it helps.

I was diagnosed with this disease in 1/07. I have lost 40 pounds since then and drastically changed my diet, but I still have issues with sugar cravings, especially at this time of year.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis this past June. Previous to that I had been hyperthyroid and did a 180 in June. The name brand Synthroid is all that has helped-the generic did not work.

- This helps when I have flares.

- I work hard at getting 9 hours of sleep a night no exceptions. It definitely helps.

I am engaged to a man who has joint custody of his 11 and 9 year old sons. We get along well, but their mother is an idiot, and I am saying that from firsthand knowledge. I don't say this to the kids but it is so hard to deal with.
