Thank you for being a rock for my friend during times of struggle. Thank you for softening her fall when she spiraled from a great height. Thank you for helping her regain strength through love and support when little seemed forthcoming from those around her. Thank you for being a shining light in the darkness when she felt lost. Thank you for showing her there was kindness and empathy in the world. Thank you for being so much more than a mere friend and neighbour to her.
I know you will continue to care for and be around her when she needs you. Your body may be gone, but your spirit and memory will never leave her.
