Well I am 23 years old. I am married to a good supportive husband. I have no children. I live in Arkansas. I'm a homemaker right now. I was a Nursing Assistant but I have took some time off from work to get help with this problem. I also have a loving mother, sister and brother who has helped me through this also. I love to read books,surf the Internet and I also love to spend time with all my family.

Close Hiatal Hernia
I have had acid reflex for about 4 years now. I never took it serious. I just always keep tums by my bedside. Then it all happen at once. Last Thursday I had eaten Chili Cheese Tator Tots with banana peppers,sharp cheddar cheese, black olives and mean the works. Then I laid down. I could feel the acid but it was no big deal because I had had it before I just thought OK go throw up the acid and have a good night the rest of the night. So I threw up and something got hung in my throat at least I thought it did.....
Treatments
- Prevacid Somewhat Helpful
- I mean it stop the acid reflex but I didn't help my throat.
- Carafate Working / Worked
- well it is making my food go down my throat now. For a week i didn't eat anything really. Cause I was so scared that I was going to choke again. This is a 4-8 week treatment.
- Aciphex Working / Worked
- This is suppose to help the acid reflex go away and it is a 14 treatment.
