well, I am one step closer to having a job. I got a call ysterday for an interview with a specialty retail store. While it is not my "dream job", it will bring in the needed income for us to make it from month to month. So on Friday I will hopefully be employed. (Fingers crossed)
Thanks for all the prayers for the friend of mine on another board. Their daughters funeral is today so hopefully after today, they will begin to heal. Their other two babies are doing so well. One of them, their boy, is already over 4 lbs.! No one should have to bury a child so my thoughts are with them today during this very rough time.
Hayden is doing well. I posted a new pic a couple of days ago with him sitting up. He is a supported sitter and in that picture with the boppy, the boppy is supporting him. Without it, he would have fallen right over! It actually took me 4 shots to get it because he kept falling over. DH's hand is right next to him in the picture so he would catch him. He loves to sit up and even in his swing, he will try and sit himself up. It won't be long now! He goes back to the dr. in 2 weeks so I will be interested to see how big he is. I have a couple of concerns with his development but I am not sure if they should be concerns or not. I give him tummy time 2-3 times a day and while he does lift his head up, I don't think it is enough for his age. Shouldn't he be lifting to a 90 degree angle? He doesn't quite get it up that high. He also is showing no interest in rolling over. I work with him on it and try to make it a game but he doesn't want to try it and will actually cry because he doesn't like it. So do these sound like anything I should be concerned about? I plan on asking his pedi in 2 weeks when he is in for his 4 month checkup and will continue to work with him.

Good luck at your interview!!!! I gotta tell you that Mikey hated being on his tummy and he would not pick his head up that far and then finally around 5-6 months he started picking it up more and now at 7 almost 8 months he is pushing himself up on his hands right up so his whole chest is off the floor!!!! Just keep working on it when you can and he will get used to it more and more! :)

Good luck with the interview. Aiden is almost 5 months and still only rolls over back to belly. He doesn't do belly to back yet. Dr. says it can happen between 4-6 months so I wouldn't worry too much. Aiden does keep his head up but I don't know if it is 90 degrees. I wouldn't worry too much about it!
