My name's Melissa. I'm 20 years old and I live in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, England. I have quite a few problems, like literally everyone in the world. And have some real bad troubles with handling them properly. I've made foolish decisions before and want to stop doing them. I love to do a lot of things. And my heart belongs to Kiefer Sutherland. I found out about him about 4 years ago. During a time when I was at my lowest state. And considered ending it all. And if it wasn't for him, then I wouldn't be alive today. I owe him my life for eternity. He really did save my life. I love him to death. Hopefully can find a lot more treatments and advice here :) Feel free to message me if you want to chat :)

Close Family Issues
I still have problems with my family. They do get out of control. Other times they get sorted out... It's just... bad, I guess :(
Treatments
- Music Somewhat Helpful
- Never ever listen to something heavy and rock filled. Or songs about depression or suicide like I use to. Something cheery and happy, even though the mood won't suit it. It does help once you've listened to it a few times :)
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I talk to someone on a weekly basis. But considering getting a counsellor.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- Depends on who you're talking to.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I write short stories based on real life events in my life. They do help me out. I go and re-read them when the same problems come back :)
Close Psoriasis
Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinI've had psoriasis for a few years now. But it developed into Psoriatic Arthritis a few years ago. I've had key hole surgery done my knee to get rid of some of the inflammation. But I, still currently, have the baker's cyst.
Treatments
- Coal Tar Working / Worked
- Works but I keep forgetting to use it. Mainly because it makes my hair STINK!!!!
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Seems to be working. Psoriasis is clearing up. Looks better everyday. Just hate the nausea that comes with them. And the daily blood tests. Hate needles.
Open Arthritis
I've got arthritis as a result from developing psoriasis. Got it in my left knee.
Treatments
- Surgery, Knee Replacement Working / Worked
- I had key hole surgery performed last year on my knee. It's worked so far. I don't need crutches anymore to help me walk. well, not for the moment anyway. Still have problems though with the cold weather.
Open Self-Injury
It started a few years ago. Haven't done it for a few months now. Have 3 long scars on my left arm. But that's it.
Open Sexual Abuse
I was sexually assaulted when I was about 13 or 14. And then again when I was 17.
Open Vegetarians & Vegans
Type: Lacto-ovo vegetarianism (No meat)Been a vegetarian for most of my life now. Nothing much really else to say :)
Open Panic Attacks
Just started today to be honest. Just had a real bad one. And my chest is still hurting like hell :(
Open Phobia
Type: Agoraphobia (fear of open spaces)It started off to be agoraphobia. But I've moved onto cabin fever apparantly.
