      My name is Heather, I am from Waterford NY, I am 29 years old and am having Gastric Bypass Surgery. My starting weight was 321 and I am ready for surgery on March 20, 2008, I am looking for tips, support, stories and friends...I have been overweight all my life and last year I was put on medication for high blood pressure and GERD, I have had IT, and am finally going to do something about my health!!

      I have been struggling with anxiety for 10 year now, I have only been on Lexapro for 5 years and it works, sometimes the dose needs to be ajusted. Alot of my Anxiety is about my health

      Valium Working / Worked
      only had to use it once after my daughter died
    • Open High Blood Pressure

      Treatments

      Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
      kinda hard

      works great, just had to go pee often for the first week or so
    • Open GERD & Heartburn

      I have GERD and can't wait untill my gastric bypass to get rid of it.

      My husband is Active Duty Navy(Submarines)16 years now, he is stationed in Groton CT and we have a home in upstate NY. We are very much looking forward to retirement :)

      I just recently found out I had a small Hiatal Hernia after my Dr. ordered me to have an endoscopy prior to my Gastric Bypass surgery..that would explain the pain sometimes.

      I lost my youngest daughter Alexandra Renne to cancer (pleuroPulmonary Blastoma) when she was 2 and a half on May 8th 2003.
