Progress or Not
Well this is exactly one year from the date of my bypass. I feel like hell and am very disappointed in the whole deal.
I continue to gain …
Y'all need to know I can spell but not type very well and it is heard for me to read off of a computer screen. I am not blind it is just a difficult thing for me. Also since I strive for perfection and think I meet that goal most of the time I mostly incapable of seeing my own errors.

I hope you are staying strong. I keep thinking about you and rooting for your success.
You AREN'T too old. I was 63 when I had my massive heart attack, stents, bypass surgery and had to quit smoking. Currently, I'm packing up to move to Tennessee from Florida because my husband of the last 8 years and I are getting divorced after 6 1/2 years of bad marriage -mostly the result of 2 of his 6 kids not happy with having daddy remarry. BTW his kids are aged 40 - 55. Keep on plugging away at not smoking and trying to heal your body. I have to believe it is worth it - however, many times over the past two years I have felt exactly the way you so elequently expressed yourself in your last post.
Married and divorced 3 times. That pretty much says it all. Currently re-married to 1st husband-we are happy most of the time
My 19 year old daughter died in 1987. It was a rape murder and she was missing for 13 months. Her remains were found in the woods.
I smoked for 30 years with the exception of one four year periond in the 80s. In 1987 I state again. Then when I tried to quit after that I could three or four days and I was on the way to get cigs. This time I have been without for eight months. Motivation - heart problems.
