It is so good to finally be back on . The computer guy came and got our computer Tuesday and we just got it back this afternoon.
I have sure missed everybody!! It's gonna take me a while to get caught up with everything.
Frankie is doing good.. although it is has been REALLY hard on him not being able to do much.. he is used to working 12 hour days then coming home and working in his shop for a couple of hours. He has been kinda depressed and a little ill at times, but I just keep telling him how much I love him and how Blessed we are that he IS HERE!!! I try to get him out of the house for a little while everyday, if it is only to run and pay a bill or something.
Our eating around here has changed quite a bit, although it changed back in 2005 when I found out I was diabetic, we have had to do some more changing now.
I am under so much stress from all of this.. it has put me in a super bad fibro flare... My Dr. has increased my Cymbalta and gave me some Lorcet to take when I need it.
Heath has also been having some really bad headaches over the last month.. so he is having a cat scan run on his head Monday evening.. by the way Monday he will be 16 years old.. then next Sat. Bethney will be be 20!!!!!
Bad news came for Britney yesterday.. she didn't get accepted into the nursing program for the fall.. there were over 400 applicants and only 75 were placed. She was heart broken. But as I always tell her.. everything happens for a reason, sometimes we don't ever know the reason and sometimes it is seen so clearly over time.
I hope all you MOMS had a wonderful Mother's day.. I did. We grilled out .. Steak, baked potato and salad. It was SOOOO GOOOD!!!
I guess I am gonna get off here now. I am honestly getting sleepy, it is only 9:00, but I better sleep while I can. Talk to you all soon. Take care.. God Bless You...................Love Ya'll..... Lori

Thank you for the update on all the family. I hope things go well for all. Tell Bethany to take some of her pre-req. classes for now and then retake the entrance exam for nursing. If she has all her pre-req. tell her to pad out her credits with an extra science, literature, or sociology class. Always helps the nursing career. From an old, used up nurse, Jamie.

jdfwood is right about all the nursing pre-req. classes. My sister has her master's in nursing (retired now). Tell Britney to keep plugging away and it will happen.

It is so good to see your smiling icecream cone back again!! I am sorry to hear about your duaghter not getting into the nursing programe. IT is the same way here they are only going to take the one with the highesest grades.My daughter has been burning the midginght oil just to keep her grades up to were she would be chosen.I really feel for Heath heHe is probably feeling all of the stress in the home to. will be ok!!
