  Just read your entry in back support group. Here's a rainbow for when the storm ends. (when it rains it pours) I hope you can swim. Hang on to that life jacket things will get better.

  Hi kim it me again and I do apologize for the long message but make sure you keep all his medical bill and everything related to his back. Have the Dr write something that say he is totally disabled and cant not work. You guys hang in there, and call on your family and friend while your in need.   hi, Kim I had back surgery that failed and caused other disc to pertruding in my upper spine. I go for my fourth mri aug 24 to determine if surfery will be and option again. I have had pt twice and now I have been going to the pain clinic since Nov. I applied for my disablility in Jan and Im now in the recoonsideration stage. I want to let you know I have not worked in over a year, they c ancelled my insurance so now I cant see a real do, I go to the University Hosp. My job eventually let me go. I had to move out of my house becase I couldnt afford it any more. Im married and my husband cant afford to maintain due to high child support payment. I was the bread winner in the family so I basically lost everything my car, my life most of all. Any who I now live with my daughter because I cant afford to do anything else. I have pain everyday, I cant sit long, stand long or walk long. My whole life has changed, but get this I was workinbg for a company that help people that did not have insurance and you to think dang this was said we would get programs to help with there hospital bill but not the Dr bills. We also help people get there disability and follow up due some time wen you get SSI you can get backdated medical coverage. I want to share some for my training experiences with you. Most people who work and is has even work hour can apply for SSI but get denied because the have a good educatiuon and have been working foir years and dont appear to the SS board to be disabled. But one thing with your husband case is that the SSI is what you guys need to try for because if your education level is low SSI tend to look at those peoplre as be illiterate (not saying that your husband is ) but this is what they taught us in training, but because your husband has been employed for a number of years they my deny him but his change are good with SSI it comes with medical coverage and can be backdate from the date he applied, and if he get its he could alos get backdated coverage that my take care of some of his older bills.Im not tryiing to be nasty or smart I did this on my job and we dealt with a lot of disability case. Now if he gets denied the no matter what he will have to go through all the stage for SSD, there are 3 stages when he first applies he'll need to appeal then the next stage will be a reconsideratiion stage then he will need to get an attorney, after that the he will need to wait for a court date. It a very long process unless is get SSI. Go to your social sercurity office and apply , you will being applying for both right then and there. I hope that I have not been rude in any why but even thou SSI pay less it come with mediical coverage, and SSD your have to wait 2yr to then get medicare. I find it quite funny because when I talked with thes patient I was sympathetic to there needs and now Im in the same position. You guys have my prayer and please prayer for me as well but dont waste time go and apply it could be quicker than you think. Also if that you have a family member that can be there for go for it now because SS expect you to be at rock bottom be they will actually help. You cant have over 4K in assets.   Hi,
  I see that someone else was doing the same as I was "Thinking of you". I just wanted to stop by, and tell you hello, and see how you were doing. I am better tis am. Saw my doctor, and he put me back on my old med for pain, and did trigger point injections inmy back. That seems to have helped lots. I hope all is well with you. Have a great day, with less pain!

  Lori, I just read your update...and, said a prayer for
  Frankie and you. I know it hurts you so much to see him suffer and I understand he is in horrible pain and to be depressed is normal. May God be very near to you all and I pray Frankie will get some relief soon...tell him I said to not give up...the right meds could be right around the corner..Love, Linda
