Hi all !! Only have a short time today as i have a lot going on and my computer times is extememly limited now :(

The new job is going great ! I'm out there driving, back in the fresh air instead of at a desk. Even lost 12 pounds already with the job being much more physical. The hours aren't bad at all, i work 5 pm to 1 am, so it's a little adjustment, but not too hard to get used to. It's so great to look forward to going to work again instead of dreading it like when i worked for my father. No offense to him, but the business is BORING and you sohuld NEVER work for family!! lol

Well, that's about it. Just stopped in to say hi to you all,. Gonna go visit a few of your profliles to drool at some pics that i haven't seen in a while lol

Well, since i KNOW i'm not a crack or pothead lol i pretty much have the job !! Even tho i know i'm good to go there, i'm still holding my real elation until i get a call from the company telling me officially.

As much as i'm grateful to my father for giving me this job when i was down and out, i absolutlely HATE it here!! Sitting behind a desk is NOT my thing! A while back my father called me into his office and asked me if i was happy here and i finally decided to be honest. He appreciated it and told me that he wouldn't stop me from leaving the company if i found a driving job. He also did the same thing yesterday and i think it's because he found out i was looking, altho he doesn't know about the one i just got (unless my brother in law told him). However he told me that he will neither be surprised or upset when i do tell him i'm leaving and that it would be ok if i couldn't give notice (which i will be).

The job isn't back "on the road" so to speak. I'll just be driving a day cab shutting trailers back and forth from a railyard back to the WALMART distribution center, which is only like 3 miles away, but it gets me back behind the wheel and doing what i was trained to do and worked my ass off for, which is NOT this. It's also working nights, but you gotta take the good with the bad, right? Which i also know will SEVERELY limit my time on DS as i still don't have a computer or internet at home :(

It pays just a buck more than what i make here with incrememnt raises. Will i ever be rich ? No, but i'm a very firm believer that you have to love what you do otherwise it just drains you. My gf believes that too and she knows how much i hate this job and want to get back behind the wheel :)

Well, that's pretty much it. I'll let everyone on the boards know once i get the phone call :) I'll have two weeks before i start anyway.
