Hi. I have nf1 and 4 kids as well. None have it. When I was small I used to visit Landcaster all the time because my father was a photographer who took photos of the farms there....

I have NF1, and scoliosis,& a meningocele on my spine and just recently had a tumor in my stomach removed called GIST.I am on medicine called Gleevic.UPDATE:That Surgery was in Nov of 07. I have been on the medicine since about Jan.I have MRI's and CT Scan to keep an eye on it and so far so good it has not grown back! I go back to the oncologist on 9-9-08.I have 4 children,2 of them also have NF,my dad and his brother,& their dad had it!Not sure where my grandfather got it from!
