About Me
I’m a native Texan, I’m keeping it weird in Austin , I was born with NF and had my first surgery when I was 5 years old, I was never told what I had, didn’t find out until I was in my teens. People tend to take me the wrong way, I seem to come off mean or cold to some, which is not so. I am the only one in my family with NF. I am a process tech at major manufacturing company here in Austin. Since the recent death of my youngest brother I live with my sister in-law and the kids. Just to let you know sharing feelings is knew to me normally I keep what I feel to myself, so bare with me and give me a chance I’m not that bad of a person once you get to know me....my user name is a song by the Brothers Johnson...called "strawberry23...it sort of reminds me of when I was a little kid...and I had all my brothers and sister with me.....

I am on Lyrica now, 75mg 3x daily, it helps with a lot of the nerve pain and itching. my mom gained weight on it, and I gained weight on the neurontin (a popular option to the Lyrica) so if the Lyrica doesn't work for you talk to your doc about the nurontin (gabapentin) instead,.
