Time to update I have a beautiful new grandchild, she was born on Sept.06, 2007 the joy of my life. I've suffered with COPD over 15 years and it is now in the final stages, then in July I was told I also have Fibromyalgia, so it is rough on me, trying to function.other problems I have Type II diabetes, Osteo in my spine, had back surgery in 93 never known such pain since. My breathing is very hard, I have a granuloma 1.75cm on my right lung, they are watching it for cancer, so we shall see. I can't have surgery, I would not survive it. I've been trying for two days to write a journal it will not accept it, so I'm going this route just to say I care and all are in my heart and prayers.

A celebration of your life. Think of all who had the pleasure of knowing you. Thinking of all the people you touched in your lifetime. The friends you made along the way. I was one of those friends, albeit in a very small way online. I am happy to have belonged to the "Swingers" group...which is dedicated to you for over two years. Close COPD & Emphysema
I have had copd over 15 years,I depend on o2 constantly,I was given a ct scan for lung cancer I finally learned the mass on my lung is called a granuloma,so they are going to watch it and take ct scans every six months.I can't have surgery,my lungs could not survive it. I was just given a new med VICODIN, hope it works, the pain is terrible. learned I now have fibromyalgia as well,it is so painful,hard to describe
Treatments
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Just started taking on 05/14/07 makes me sleep helps the pain
- Albuterol Somewhat Helpful
- feel short winded after use
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- I use 20 mg daily I find I swell a lot
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- I take this every morning,it seems to help a lot
- Theophylline Somewhat Helpful
- 300 mg twice daily
- Xopenex Working / Worked
- 1.25 mg/3ml use i as directed every 6 hours
Close Chronic Pain
I am suffering from cronic pain due to COPD and Fibromyalgia,sometimes if is almost unbearable.
Treatments
- Oxycodone Not Working
- this drug made me think I was in another world,I was removed from it after first Rx,very very strong med,was then put on fentynal 50 mg
- Fentanyl Somewhat Helpful
- Helps wit pain, allows me to bathe and do a little more than usual,75 mg.every 72 hours
- Neurontin Too Soon to Tell
- Just started this for Fibromyalgia,doctor wants me on it for two weeks
Open Fibromyalgia
Just told I have fibromyalgia, all new to me,only know it is very painful. I see the doctor on Friday,he will put me on meds.
Open Diverticulitis
I was just told on the 18th.of Oct.07 that I have this disease,I'm learnig about it but know there are many thing already that cause such pain/
