I was diagnosed with fibro 29 years ago. I am truly a home body. Always have been, although the fibro has kept me in even more. I enjoy keeping in contact with others who have this disease, for encouragement and support. Some days a message sent to me can be the nicest thing to happen all day!

My interests are mostly artistic because I can no longer do the sports I once did. I knit, crochet, draw, paint, make jewelry, sew, cook, make cards, stamp...You can view my latest works in my photo section.

Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- It did not work, and it hurt a lot.
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- It relaxes me. Best when water is not too hot.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Helps in desperate times.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Also gives me a migraine.
Close Caring For Aging Parents
My parents are in the last stages of living by themselves. I will soon need to move 1,000 miles to help care for them.
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
My father is a verbal abuser to me and my stepmother. She has stayed with him for 50 years and managed to accept her life. I have never been able to accept his treatment of me, and don't think I ever will.
