Close Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesDiagnosed with PCOS in 2006. I have been TTC for 2yrs now with no luck. My husband has a very low semen count which does not help. We are keeping our fingers crossed that one day we can experience the life as Parents.
Treatments
- Clomid Considering
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful
- Was a painful procedure to me. Showed that I had no blockage in my tubes which is a good thing. Spotting occured afterwards is what I was told but I actually bled for 2wks.
- Metformin Working / Worked
- It causes me really bad headaces and slows down my bowel functions. I think its good though.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Works well to give me monthly cycles but makes them very painful.
Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Diagnose with PCOS in 2006. Hubby and I have been TTC for 2yrs now. Willing to try anything. Keeping our fingers crossed for a child of our own.
Treatments
- Clomid Considering
- Metformin Working / Worked
- Works pretty good. Causes me headaches though. Taking 1500mg a day.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- When I was on Birth Control it helped to regulate my periods and mood swings. Only downfall was I was really emotional all the time.
- Provera Working / Worked
- Helps restore my periods.

Grew up as a Navy Brat and then Married My Highschool sweetheart who joined the Navy so I am now a Navy Wife. Even though my father is still active duty (26yrs now)I find it still hard with deployments.
Open Cholecystitis
Had Over 100 Gallstones. Doctors kept pushing it off as a Stomach Flu until one got lodged into my bile duct causing severe pain and involuntary vomiting. I'm so thankful that it is out. I would never want that pain again.

- Had my gallbladder removed in 2002 at age 15. Living without isn't so bad. However since my surgery I have developed irritable bowel syndrome because things seem to just run right throught you.

Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinI have Psoriasis on My scalp. I didn't know what it was or who to see because my doctor kept giving me the run around. I finally saw a dermatologist and I am no using a foam for my scalp and its like a miracle cure!

- Works Wonderful. I use Luxiq on my scalp and havent had sores or bleeding since.
- Coal Tar Not Working
- Didn't work for me.

- Really having to just cut corner and learn between a need and a want.

- Helped out alot. If you don't have them to buy things then your saving yourself money right there.
- Debt Consolidation Working / Worked
- Got a consolidation loan to pay off everything and Have just one payment. Working pretty good just would like to have it paid off sooner
Open Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI started becoming depressed in about 2005 when my parents seperated. Eventually my parents divorced in 2007 and they use me as the messenger. Its hard because I would of never thought it would happen to me, they were married 23 years. I lost a close relationship with my father when he left in 2005. I try to stay upbeat and surrond myself with positive people. On the inside I feel it eating away at me how much the Divorce really hurt.

- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- Helps for maybe a couple of hours. After that I fall right back into the depressed state again.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- Friends and Family can only do so much.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- Helps me release my thoughts. I usually cry while writing because I have kept things bottled up for so long. Only problem is writing doesn't solve anything for me.
