well, i now have an appt w/ a doctor towards the end of the month. everyone i saw in Atlanta suggests that i try Tysabri first. i'm REALLY unhappy w/ the neuromedical center, so - am seeing a different doc. who hopefully (?) will order tysabri. anyone else tried this??

so - since my mom and her husband (he's a cardiologist) talked w/ me - i bolted to Atl. asap. am seeing different docs here and am trying to avoid the infusions-----we'll see where this goes. i'll keep y'all informed.

well, seeing a new doc was good. he is now testing me (echo today) and if i'm strong enough i will start LDN very soon. it's actually wonderful that i don't have to give my shots every day - seems strange, but i do like it. so, it'll be an infusion - chemo. tx actually. i am pretty frightened but i think in the long run this will HOPEFULLY make me feel better. and, hopefully i won't lose my hair!!!!!!!!! anyone who reads this - please send good karma my way!! thanks!!!!!!

LDN is low dose NALTREXONE, you get a script to take 3.0 OR 4.5 MG each day, and send the script to Skip's Pharmacy (best bet) and he sends you pills to take once a day after 9pm standard (10pm dst) and before 3am.
you can ask for 4.5 MG in 1.5 MG pills, take 2 each night to start as 3.0 MG, and then after a month start taking 3 (4.5 MG).. if your legs get too stiff or you get too much constipation, then cut back to 3.0 MG. you can also take 100 MG B1 vitamin every day, that seems to help the legs.
