Hello Everyone,
It's been a while. My business is moving along. It's a large hurdle, but after spending several months in my own controlled environment I can see that I have had fewer attacks.
I had an attack this morning, the pollen count is med-high. I was out yesterday, but that shouldn't have triggered that big of an attack. It took most of the morning, my meds, and 4 cups of coffee to feel better. I normally don't drink any coffee or I just drink decaf, but when I'm having an allergy attack I find that it helps with my energy level. Under normal circumstances that many cups of coffee would have me bouncing off the walls, but when everything is swollen, my mind and body are sluggish, and I'm not breathing very well coffee helps.
I am so excited, I am working with a SCORE volunteer from Pittsburgh, who has great business credentials. She is helping me but together a study that might sway the people who hold the "grant purse strings".
I didn't get to "work" today, until around 1. I was planning a full day, but sometimes that doesn't work when you have a chronic illness. VocRehab has set me up in my own home office. They came in to look at the set up I had and said it wasn't ergonomically healthy. They got me an air filter, desk, and other things so that I can work comfortably. They move a little slow, but if you're patient and follow through with everything, it does start to come together.
Well I need to get to work.
Hope this finds everyone happy and healthy!
