Appointments and I told my boss

My first reason for joining DS was for pulmonary embolisms In Sept. of '07. Then I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks on March 21, 2008. I have been with my DH for almost 10 years and every year keeps getting better. He is my best friend and we have never been happier. Right now we are trying to get pregnant, again. It's proving tougher than we thought. I have a feeling I will be joining the fertility support group soon. Thank you everyone for your support. This site has really helped me through some hard times.

Yay! It sounds like everything is going great! I am so happy that you are feeling nauseous, tired, lightheaded...pregnant! I'm keeping you and your little baby in my prayers that you will both remain safe and healthy and get to meet eachother next year.
It will be here before you know it! Just get through the first trimester, then it's a piece of cake! Best of luck!!!!
Congratulations!!! That is so exciting! I hope you are doing well! xoxo
Dawn (and Ian)- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I just got your hug and went to your journals to read about the good news! I am sitting her crying like an idiot- I am so thrilled for you. I am so excited to follow your progress with this pregnancy and see this little baby in a few months time. And you didn't even have to wait to be preggo in January. This holiday season will be such a special one for you as you celebrate your good news. God Bless.
congrats!
On September 7, 2007 I was diagnosed with PE's. My symptoms were chest pains and shortness of breath. A spiral CT scan revealed the clots in my lungs. Not until after I was released from the hospital did I realized how serious my condition was. At the time I had just run 18 miles for training 2 weeks before diagnosis and was about to run my 20 miler. Needless to say, I was given permission to run with my group for the 20 miler but to only run 16. I finished the marathon on October 7th.
On May 21, 2008 we lost our little angel. I was almost 12 weeks. I had been on DS for previous pulmonary embolisms and I knew the moment I went off of blood thinners that I wanted to get pregnant. Our dream came true in March right after St. Patrick's Day. Everything was going great until I was almost due for my 12 ultrasound and started spotting. The rest is history. We are devastated.
I got pregnant the first time right away in March but miscarried at 12 weeks. We've been ttc since and have not been successful. So frustrating! Update 11/7/09: Found out we are pregnant right after we decided to pursue IVF. Had all the appointments and necessary paperwork ready to go. It's a miracle!
I'm a runner. I love it! It's my passion. Since my miscarriage last March, I've fallen a bit behind and have slowly put on the pounds. I start my running group February 7th and I can't wait!
On our 9th month of TTC. No luck. Starting infertility tests (2/09)
We have been trying since our miscarriage in May '08 with no success. DH's sperm analysis concluded a very low sperm count which his doctor and mine think is due to a groin injury way back in college from playing basketball.
After almost 2 years of trying to conveive and 1 miscarriage in June of '08, we finally got our BFP on 11/4/09! We had an appointment to start IVF that Monday! We are still in shock and feel so blessed, but the worry has started already!
