Hi my name is Randee Sue but most people call me Rue. I love life and I love people. I was born with Mylomeningocele(the MOST SEVERE form of Spina Bifida). But 54 surgeries and countless months, did I say months I meant years, in the hospital later I am living my life to THE FULLEST for MY Heavenly Father. Interests
I have a passion for ASL or American Sign Language. I grew up doing sign language on the school bus. Most of the kids were either deaf or non-verbal. So being the only speaking child I had to know some signs in order to survive day to day stuff. Now as an adult I enjoy signing during church. I also like to doodle and listen to music and be on my computer.

Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Partially SightedWhen I was 14 I had a surgery to replace my shunt. It should have been routine. But nothing about this one was routine because I woke a week after the surgery completely blind. Then because of that had to have more sugeries to get the vision back. Now I can see out of 1/4 of my right eye and 1/8 of my left eye.

Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my daddy to small cell lung cancer in 2003. I was just 19y/o. My baby sister was just 16y/o. He battled it for a year before The Lord took him home to heaven.

Open Short Stature
Due to having Spina Bifida I am rather short. I stand only 4 ft. 11 in. tall. I am considered a legal midget. I am short and darn proud of it. Afterall the biggest of hearts come in the smallest of packages.Right?

I had siezures from the time I was born until I was about two,I think they were grandmal. Then the mysteriously quit. From then on I had petimal seizures(starring spells). My teachers for the longest time thought I was a space cadet.LOL. Now as an adult I still have petimal seizures but in 1999 my grandmal seizures came back as well.

Open Dyslexia
I am somewhat dislexic but I can control it pretty well. I used it to my advantage when I worked for Edwards Cinemas from 2000-2003. Ask me and I will explain. Also I use my dislexsia to make people laugh. Again ask me and I will explain. But I have noticed recently it is a problem when it comes to numbers. That one is harder to explain but if you wanna know just ask.
Open Paralysis
Due to having SB I am partially paralyzed from my waist to my knees and totally paralyzed from my knees to my toes. But I have zero sensation from my waist down and no one knows hy that is. I should have lost feeling+function but I only lost feeling.

Due to my last shunt replacement(11 yrs. ago) I am like a stroke victim. I have MANY of the issues that come along with having a stroke even though I DID NOT have a stroke. And I have short and long term memory problems.
