Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentMy biological father passed away suddenly several years ago from a massive heart attack. Last year my childhood best friend committed suicide and this past February my stepfather died from lung cancer. The last several years have been the most challenging of my entire life. I'm learning to cope, some days are better than others, but I know this has made me a stronger person. I love and miss you all. I know you are watching over me!

Open Lung Cancer
I lost my stepfather to lung cancer this past February. He was a heavy smoker at one point in his life, but quit over fifteeen years ago. He only lived for 6 months after his diagnosis. I think of him every single day and remember his enormous laugh and his kind spirit. That's what gets me through the tough times! We miss you Joe and we love you!
