I've been married almost 32 years. The last few years have been really tough since findng out about my husbands year long affair. We're working hard at putting our marriage back together. Updating to add...we have come so far. Our relationship is once again strong and loving. We just passed 2 years since Dday. It's been a long hard road but well worth it. I'm so glad I decided to stay in the marriage.

My husband of 32 years had a 2 year emotional affair that became physical for a year. This was at the 26 year mark. Our family was dealing with something really horrible, he escaped via the A, I escaped into booze.

- Couples Counseling Working / Worked
- We did counseling for the first year or so and it was very helpful. I would highly recommend it.
- Forgiveness Working / Worked
- You must forgive in order to rebuild. To withhold forgiveness will only build a wall that the betrayer cannot get over.
