Results are looking good!!
Got my results today from being on Atripla for 1 month and my VL has dropped from 38000 to 434 My HIV Nurse has said this is good for my first month …
I live in Lancashire UK with my partner and our 4 cats. I work full time for Social Services as a Community Social Support Worker helping people who have social and mental heath issues along with mild learning disabillities to live their life to the full which kinda takes my mind off my own problems........ I find im lucky to have a supportive caring partner who understands me. I keep positive and this is always an added bonus :)

I got diagnosed with HIV on my 25 birthday. Its been a long difficult road but I remain positive in mind even though I have not been in great health at times. Im on Atripla and started this in May 09. I read lots of infomation on my illness and keep myself well informed. I work full time and find this keeps my mind and body busy, I think taking care of myself and making some life changes has made a great difference to me too.
I have suffered with asthma and allergies since I was a child and still suffer with ilness in adulthood. I have regular checkups with my GP practice nurse.
I have suffered from depression and anxiety throughout my life and had my fair share of ups and downs but I think a positive attitude helps me cope best along with some useful medication :)
I have had a couple of tramatic evens happen in my life which has caused me PTSD I found working through CBT and Councilling made a great difference.
I recently lost my mother who was my support network for everything in life and am trying to come to terms with this
