And so it goes Mood
Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | A General Update story

Well, hubby will remain employed.  For that we are grateful.  The transition to a new owner is not new to either of us.  I know my husband will be busy and distracted and tired from the workload and he knows I just need a smile from him and a bit of conversation now and then in order to keep up my end of things here on the homefront.

The details are still to be ironed out and we learn more daily.  We find ourselves working on the practice of daily gratitude and the counting of our blessings which are many.  We are both entrenched in a period of feeling blue and know this too shall pass, but until it does we will keep an eye on our well being and make certain each of us is applying ourselves to maintaining our mental health.

It is the times we are in.  Everyone struggles.  Nobody is immune to personal trouble or pain these days. What we do know is that God is with us.  God does not abandon us just because we are feeling down or blue.  God knows our struggles, He is there with us.  We are never alone.  In that knowledge is our comfort, and our joy.  With God all things are possible.  I know God will see us through, as He has so many times in our lives.  Thanks be to God.  God Bless us all.

I am so glad to hear that you are remaining positive about everything that is going on in your lives right now. There are angels all around you even though you can't see or hear them, but they will whisper encouragement to you and keep you going. So, in the meantime, consider yourself hugged, and sing praises!
