Hi girls! First I wanted to report that I am feeling better again. I had a little slip last week, but it has turned around again. Thanks for listening to me whine!
I had my next OB appt today.. I just have to say to start off that I am so annoyed with my OB office. The last 2 appointments I have waited at least an hour just to get back into the room and then at least 15 more minutes to actually see the doctor. She is nice, but not that spectacular.. They get one more chance and if it happens again I am switching before I get too far along. Everything was fine today, my bloodwork and 24 hour urine test were great except for one thing.. I am pretty anemic. I thought that might be the case as I have bruises all over me. I just have to take an extra iron supplement so that is not a big issue. I only gained one pound in the last 4 weeks, but they didn't seem to think it was a bad thing...
Now for the exciting part.. I got to schedule my sonogram and it will be on May 27th.. 3 more weeks and I will know the sex of the baby. That is just crazy! I am definitely excited to know.
I hope this week finds you all doing well. Lots of love!

So glad to hear all is going well for you. If it makes you feel any better the standard wait for my OB is 2-3 hours. He's awesome though and the delay is usually because he's late getting started or pulled away in the middle of the day to deliver a baby. I try to remind myself that one of these days he'll be late seeing someone else because he's delivering MY baby ;-)

So exciting:) I am sorry to hear about the waiting thing. Htat always annoys me when Dr's keep you waitign for more than a half hour. I think that they should let you know wehen you check in that they are running behind or whatever so you are not just sitting there clueless. I am sooo happy to hear that all is going well for you ! you are an inspiration and hope to us all! Whooho, praying all continues to go well!

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better again. I hate when doctors are running late, I wish they would let you know that in advance. I am happy to hear that things are going well and I cant wait to hear the sex of the baby, how exciting!!! I always think of you and hope that everything continues to go great! xoxo

I'm also happy to hear that things are going well. I agree with the others about the waiting. I suppose next time you could ask the receptionist if your ob was running late or doing a delivery, and/or asking the doctor when you get into the appointment about what you should expect regarding the waiting time - what is a realistic range. just a thought...

I think you're on the right track with your OB office. Emergencies come up, but it's important that they value you as a patient. I can't wait to know what you're carrying. Any guesses? For some reason, I'm thinking a girl! :)

I hate waiting at the OB's office! He has gotten called out for deliveries a couple times lately and it totally sucks rescheduling. But he is great so I stay. I am SO excited for you to find out what you are having!!!

I am so glad you are feeling better. When I was in my teens I used to have to go to an OBGYN for all my surgeries. I used to sit in the waiting room for HOURS. Waiting is bad enough but I did a lot of u/s and needed a full bladder. It always seemed that when I could not take it any more and would let some pee out, they would call me in and tell me to drink more and wait another hour. I would look at the pregnant women and some had their other children with them and feel bad b/c they had to wait too. Then the same thing, get in the room and sit half naked for another hour. Our old RE was just as bad. I would try to go on my lunch break but between the hour commute and waiting well over an hour to two hours just to see her was too much. When they would call to remind me of the appointment they would always say "as a reminder Dr.F tries to give as much time to each patient as needed so there may be a wait." I would tell them to stop over booking her and there would not be a problem.
Our new RE is great and we never wait long.
I can't wait to hear if the baby is a boy or a girl. Are you leaning any way right now? Any dreams?
