About Me
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 3 years. We have been trying to conceive for about the same time as we both assumed we had problems. We have done 4 IUI's with injectables with no success and had 2 IVF cycle's cancelled due to poor response. We are getting ready to start IVF # 3 in January 2009. IVF # 3 was a success! Expecting a little girl in October of 2009. We have a dog, Sadie, that we love and treat as our child. We live in suburb of Kansas City and enjoy taking vacations in tropical locations!

Hi honey, I remembered your FSH going up. The good news is that the cyst is gone. We're doing an OI cycle and gearing up for IVF in January, providing that all the stars align between now and then. Sophia is so beautiful (seriously, not all babies are that beautiful!). I know mommyhood is not all bliss and fun, I'm sure there are some real overwhelming moments. You are a strong, courageous woman and no matter how challenging it might be (at times), after all you've been through to get her here, you can handle anything that comes your way. I got the announcement, love the photography. Even DH said, "that tutu picture is cute." LOL! :)

Type: EndometriosisAt 19 diagnosed with endo. At 30 starting trying with my huband. I had a second lap and hysterscopy surgery soon after, doctor resconstructued my tubes (left is still blocked) and removed scar tissue. At first 2 IUI procedures had high FSH ), but normal since. I have done 4 IUI's with injectables all BFN. I have done 2 IVF cycles, both were cancelled due to lack of response. IVF # 3 in Jan after passing clomid challenge test. IVF # 3 was a success! Expecting a little girl in October 2009
Treatments
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- Started my treatments on 2/14. Helped to balance my hormones.
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- First IUI scheduled 12/7 did not work. We will try # 2 in January. Cycle # 2 failed, going for # 3 in February. Cycle 3 failed, moving to IVF. Tried one more IUI after clomid challenge test - it failed as well.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Follistim Working / Worked
- The treatment is succesful in getting me to grow additional follicles.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- IVF # 1 was cancelled due to lack of response to the meds. IVF # 2 was cancelled due to lack of response to meds. IVF #3 was a success! BFP 2/5/2009
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Repronex Working / Worked
- Helped to create follicles. This medicine was painful!
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
After 4 failed IUI's and 2 cancelled IVF cycles I am finally pregnant from my 3rd IVF cycle. I found out on 2/5/2009. My husband and I are so excited to be parents!
