My Mother and my boyfriend are bipolar.
Open ADHD / ADD
I've had ADD for a few years now. I've tried many different medications for it.
Treatments
- Adderall Somewhat Helpful
- Worked a little bit, but made me extremly tired.
- Concerta Not Working
- Didn't work for me at all.
- Ritalin Not Working
- Just made me feel exausted and really angry.
- Vyvanse Somewhat Helpful
- This is the one I am currently taking. Must say it is the best one so far.. Sometimes keeps me up late. Also I get irritated easily and the sometimes even the smallest things set me off.
Open Prescription Drug Abuse
Whole freshman year did any pill I could get my hands on. It was like an everyday thing. I was so messed up one day I ended up overdosing on five different kinds oof pills (twenty-six pills total). I had to stay at Vanderbilt's Phsycological hospital for a week, then completed a five-week intensive outpatient program. Have had some relapses, but still trying my best to recover.
