Okay so my number for last week was wrong Mood

Okay, i didn't weigh 164.5 - it was actually 162.5 - I guess in my distraught mood I just bumped it up even higher!

 

In any case this week at TOPS I weighed in at 159.5 - a 3 pound loss! Yeah me! 

 

Tonight my best friend's husband is coming over for dinner. We will have the usual thursday night spaghetti but I so want to open a bottle of wine too! Even though I said no alcohol until Nora's birthday, oh what to do what to do? I know I wouldn't drink more than 2 glasses and I want to be good hostess - such rationalizing, I think. 

 

Nora and I made our low fat no bake cheese cake. Leftovers will have to go to her cousin at college promptly on Saturday! 

 

Ran a good 50 minutes today on the treadmill - 5 miles and walked 10 minutes at a 4 mph pace. Got  back into lifting this week. Tomorrow is my last workout day of the week (Saturday is my day off) so I think it will be any everything day when it comes to body parts to focus on since yesterday was lower body and monday was upper body (not feeling the upper body any more but my butt and thighs are sore from yesterday - a good thing I think). 

 

I am still thinking about doing the Wednesday morning yoga - maybe I will start that next week. the class is at 9:30 and it is for beginners and regulars.....

 

Tomorrow I have an 80 minute massage - splurge I know but I get 20% off! Can't wait! 

 

6 pound adjustment numbers is 162.5 - 6 = 156.5 by Oct 22 -- kind of makes the progress slider a little wacky due to my error but HEY I need some positive reinforcement and that slider sure does provide it - at least for me. 

 

finally, i love the awesome yogurt cheese I found at whole foods last week - it tastes so good. Calories around 100 an ounce and 7 g fat but really low sodium like 110 mg per ounce. I need to get some more! also, it is made in Holmes County, Ohio - my home state, gotta love the Amish! 

 

I know this journal entry is pretty random and all over the place but sometimes I can't figure out what my focus should be but in any case here is my plan for the next week:

 

Tonight: enjoy the spaghetti and open wine if I decide to - have one glass - make it last and last, if there is some leftover save it for blue moon burgers! 

 

Friday: Gym and massage and make tabouli salad for work

 

Saturday: work and eat right - take enough snacks to get me through

 

Sunday:  Run and work - same deal with it comes to food

 

Monday: Nora school; me gym; enjoy the afternoon with her

 

Tuesday: Nora school me work on increasing the run outside (it is now harder than the treadmill - what's the deal with that????) 

 

Wednesday: Nora school; me gym and any commissary stuff needed for Camp

 

Thursday: TOPS and run on treadmill

 

Friday: Alternate gym with Sean and at noon off to CAMP!!!!!! Yeah!

 

Obviously journal food every day and again avoid the after dinner eating - will distract with gum and or 1 or 2 dove promises if there is room in the food plan

 

AT Camp: enjoy self; don't worry too much about food (but still journal and exercise both days) get back on track when we get home on Sunday. 

 

Now, I am starting to think I may be able to get back to my 150 number by the end of the year - it won't be easy with Camp, PA, Hawaii and more but I am thinking about trying. I won't be at my 140 final goal but if I start the new year at 150 I can really kick it into gear and get to 140 by Easter 2010......

 

Let me think about it.

    Wow you are doing so utterly fantastic..3# in one week! I also found that treadmill walking seemed easier...but I also saw more weight loss when I walked outside. I think it is because I swing my arms outside and do not on the treadmill. Have a great weekend!

    i couldn't run outside this summer because Nora was home or it was too hot. Now that she is back at school I can go outside alone. Did okay today with company. Have a good weekend too.
