Regrouping isn't so bad Mood

Amazingly I was down 1 pound since my last weigh in on July 30. I came in at 154.

Nora and I went out to lunch at Whole Foods. I picked some yummy stuff from the salad bar but no dressing so except for the oil and cheese that was on few things (not a lot) I think I did okay. I let her have a slice of pizza plus raw bell peppers.

I plan on having a good week to get ready for the beach and continue to focus on getting these last 14 pounds gone. Ideally it would be fabulous to do this by the end of the year. There are 19 more weeks of the year left so that does make it possible but I do have lots of things coming up that will be challenging. So, maybe after school starts I will set a modest goal for the 7 weeks before we go to Hawaii and another one between our return and the new year (that last goal will be just to maintain during the eating season).

My aunt and cousin did notice my weight loss while we were in Cincinnati. It is funny I weighed the same when they visited in April but they didn't say anything then maybe the body took awhile to change its look.

In any case being a moody girl is not working so I will continue to figure out what does work.

Really the truth is I already know what works:

food log/journal

exercise 6 days (I rarely get away from that - so that is good)

Eating at home most days

Limiting alcohol

One thing I really need to try and do is fundemental yoga. It is free at my gym and 3 times a week. I think it will help me relax and stretch more. It is just hard for me to wrap around my mind the idea to give up one day of cardio to do this instead....maybe I should see if someone can do it with me might be inspiring.....I am most interested in the Wednesday morning class as I don't like going out at night (I miss Sean too much). So, I could do the class and then my weights for 30 minutes and maybe if I want to an easy 30 minute walk on the treadmill or ride on the bike - I still would make my 2 hr max when it comes to babysitting.... that sounds like a plan......
