As most of you already know, I lost my baby today. I lost my third baby on the four month anniversary of losing my twins. I am feeling really numb. The doctor said it was almost like a blighted ovum. The egg fertilized, attached and started growing. It even doubled in size since last week. But the heartbeat was not more than a flicker... It just didn't develop. We couldn't even get a reading on the doppler on the u/s. My RE sent me to another doctor for a second opinion and I completely respected that. They said about the same thing. I guess they will take one more look before performing the D&C on Tuesday. I know I will be ok. I know I will try again.... my RE said after my first period, we could attempt again. I want to be ready mentally. I don't know how I am going to get there and I don't know how I am going to get to the point to where I feel secure in my next pregnancy. I am only praying that everything goes well with the D&C and that I don't have any problems getting pregnant again.

I'm soooo sooo sorry to hear this. I know how happy you were. I can relate though sweety, I lost 3 babys. And I didn't get pregnant til almost a year after my first m/c. I really hated to hear this from people but I really think that they were right when they said to wait it out a little. That after losing so many pregnancies my body just wasnt ready to carry another little one successfully. I am hurting so much for you right now. It is the worst thing to go through, I've been there and I will honestly tell you, I STILL don't feel comfortable with my pregnancy, I will always have a fear that something bad is going to happen. It's just what I got used to. I'm so sorry again, and you are always in my prayers. Hang in there sweety. It will happen, God just has a special time picked just for you. Your situation brings past memories flooding back. Babe, I know it hurts right now but there is light at the end of the tunnel so don't be put off and dont give up. We dont know why such terrible things happen to us and it is difficult to get our heads around it all but we are all here for you when you neeed us. Try to look to the future
