Just a quick update before putting my big guy to bed... Aiden will be 5 months on Weds. He is growing up so quickly... in the blink of an eye he has gotten to be so big. And I grow more and more in love with him everyday. He has a doctor's appt Weds, shots only but they will weigh and measure him so I will have "official" stats then but overall he is weighing about 16lbs, and is about 25.5 inches long. He is chatting up a storm and loves talking to all the Baby Enstein puppets... man, he loves those things. He is rolling over a lot, although he still doesn't like to go belly to back! He is able to hold his own bottle although he needs assistance most of the time. Same with sitting. He is able to sit.... unassisted.... but I always have my hands close to catch him should he lose his balance, which he does fairly often. He is starting to get up on his knees, but that is new of today and he likes to turn himself in circles. I broke down 2 days ago and started giving him rice cereal. He eats it but I am not sure how much he likes it. He did grab the spoon from me the other and day and about choked on it... I got it on video, but all I can say is my boy likes to eat! He isn't gaining weight too fast. He hasn't doubled his birth weight yet but he was a big boy.... and he is really close! I think he needs to gain another pound or so. He is so much fun and I love being his mom! I will post more pictures soon! Oh, and one more month til I have met my goal of breast feeding until 6 months... yeah... didn't think I would make that one. Once I make it, and I know I will because I have over a months supply in the freezer, I will up it to 9 months... I do firmly believe I will make to a year. That will be a huge success for me since I am exclussively pumping!! Love to all!

my boys never really liked the cereal either. i wound up throwing away an almost full carton both times! but bring on the food and you cant stop em!! congrats on your bf goal and send some pics of that little booger!! he is such a cutie patootie!!!

I can't believe he's getting up on his knees already! Jonah still isn't rolling over! He's very "zen" about it I think...he's just happy on his belly or his back and just doesn't seem very motivated to go anywhere just yet! I'm so glad you guys are doing so well!

Yay! You met a goal!!! Well you are getting there at least! That is great to hear!! Sounds like you and your little guy are doing wonderful!! I can tell by every word you put in here that you are already such a great mom! Lucky kid isn't going to be able to complain about anything!!! I admire this in you!! I hope that one day i will be able to be just as great of a mom as you are!!!
