Haven’t written in a bit so figured I would. Things have been good, I’ve been feeling pretty yucko most of the time, constant hangover type feeling and tired. Had a couple of little scares, first one when a urinalysis came back that I was a carrier of Group B Strep, not a huge deal totally deal-able but still, I was put on anti-biotics for now and will need them IV during labor and delivery. Then this week I got a full blown migraine with aura and all, SO not cool when pg. I didn’t think much of it but when it hadn’t gone by the next day and I happen to come across online that if they do come with aura (vision discrepancies, nausea, stiff neck etc) to call you doctor, I did and they had me come in. While there they realized my blood pressure was 160! I’m usual a low blood pressure person so that combination landed me in the ER yesterday for monitoring, fluids and anti-nausea meds. Once blood pressure went down and headache had subsided I was released with yep you had a bad migraine. Much better the “I’m sure it’s not a stroke or anything” O got for the OB’s office – eep! Have a script for something if I get another, I might just be one of those unlucky who get migraines etc with pg. I also have to make sure I’m getting plenty of fluids and eating more, haven’t been hungry and nausea especially at night. I bit of a cluster-you- know-what that I’ll have to be more aware of now. Baby is fine though, not that I saw but there’s no reason to think otherwise, no cramping, spotting or anything of that nature, just wacky hormones and Mommy.

So glad you posted an update. I've been wondering how you're doing. Ugh, sounds like you've had quite the time of it lately. Hope you're feeling better soon. I, too, am a carrier of Group B strep but my OB/GYN didn't find it out until I had already delivered my DD 14yrs ago so she had to stay in the hospital on IV antibiotics for a while. Thank God everything turned out okay but it's great they already tested you and you have a proactive plan. Sorry to hear about the migrane and blood pressure it sounds like you're in great hands with your Dr and I hope you feel better soon! Hugs.

Thanks for the update.. hadn't heard from you in a while! So sorry about the sickness and the headaches(especially going to the ER.. OMG). I really hope that you start feeling better soon!

I was just thinking of you today and wanted to catch up with you...so gald you wrote a journal to keep us posted..lol!! So sorry about your migraine, I have only 2 (last year) and they came with the aura as well, not fun and I can only imagine having one while pregnant. I am so gad that you are alright.
Have a wonderful holiday...what a nice time of the year to celebrate your pregnancy..and you can eat all the high calorie food and not worry about it..lol!!
