    Hey there. I'm doing alright.
Sounds like good stuff is going on for you. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary..
University is going okay. I'm enjoying Psychology. I've got one assignment and 1 exam to go until I'm on holidays!

It's all good. That's no good about your daughter. Sounds like things are going well though. University isn't too bad. I'm getting on top of everything. I got an A for my first assignment in one class. Still waiting for other stuff back. Oh and I got in the top 5% of my Psychology class in our test, out of 900 students =]. I got very sick over the holidays and was in hospital because I had an asthma attack. I had a chest infection and the flu that lasted for 2 weeks. Wasn't much fun, but my boyfriend's Mum looked after me, which was really nice. I'm just chugging along. Trying to decide what I'm going to do next year, I'm either going to become an RA which is an older student in a hall of residence/dorm that looks after the younger students. So I'll either apply to do that in Wellington here, or go back to Dunedin and apply to be an RA in a hall down there because the hall manager is a family friend of ours. But if I don't get accepted to either of those two halls then I'm going to do a 2 month exchange to Ukraine! Which is super exciting.. I'm not really sure which one I'd prefer lol. So I've got something pretty exciting to look forward to either way! I've got my Psychology lecture in half an hour but it's pissing down outside, but I think I should brave the weather and go lol.

Oh right, i understand. School is going well. I got accepted through to the next round for Youthline volunteering but it's more than 60 hours of training within the next 2 months, as well as a weekend camp. I would LOVE to do it but I've spoken to a few people about it and Uni and my health have to come first. Even though it's not what I really want to do, I have to turn it down. That was nice of you, I'm sure she had a great birthday. I've had a few problems with the nerves in my neck, they got caught and squished between my C3 and C4 and I was losing complete feeling in my arms. It's slowly getting better. That'll be nice seeing your nephew. Lol he might get confused about which one's his dad! Oh do you know what his 'secret projects' are or they even too secret for you? lol. That's pretty cool, my brother and his friends always look up places like that on google earth lol. I have to get the B12 injections rather than the tablets because I don't absorb it any other way. I've got my psychology lecture very soon, so I should go =] Sarah

What's your God walk? That's good, I'm glad it's going well. That'll be exciting to meet your relatives. I hope I'm able to help young people. I think it'll be good experience if nothing else. I don't have to get another B12 injection for another 6 weeks so that's not too bad. That sounds like good. Haha 10.30 isn't that early! I have lectures at 8am, at a different campus! That's early lol.

Thanks! They hurt a lot. I always get pain in my neck and shoulder for a week after them. Uni isn't too bad. I'm loving Psychology. I'm now studying Education Studies, Early Childhood Studies and Psychology. I'm volunteering for the Red Cross where I have to train teenagers about the risks of drugs and alcohol and I'm also volunteering for Youthline which like a helpline for teens in New Zealand. Hopefully it'll all keep me busy! I'm feeling good though, it's good to be able to help people. How are you doing?

I know a little a bit about Thanksgiving. We get a lot of our TV programmes from the States, so they always talk about Thanksgiving. I'm going to be in Australia for Xmas day. I'm not really looking forward to it, I don't like Xmas all that much. Some people here celebrate Halloween, but it's not really a big thing here. Most people see it as a money maker for the shops. That sounds cool lol. I don't like Xmas music either. It sounds like it's a pretty big deal over there. Thanksgiving is normally the date of my birthday too. Both my parent's birthdays are on the 2nd January. I've been spending the last few days helping my Grandmother with regalia for University Graduation. I've had to start working at 8am and I'm not good with early mornings because of my fibromyalgia. Yesterday I slept from 3pm-7.15am. It was a good sleep lol. I've finished helping my Grandmother now, so I have to really get stuck into my psychology. I'm studying Pavolv's Dog at the moment and classical conditioning. It's quite interesting. I notice the same with the weather, which is why I really hate winter. It gets quite cold here and even in the summer it's not all that warm. In winter we can get down to 8F, our average winter temp is about 50F. In summer we can get up to about 90F, but that doesn't happen very often. We get about 62-73F on an average summer day. In New Zealand we have Waitangi Day which is a NZ holiday to celebrate the signing of the Treaty between the Maori ('native NZers') and the Europeans. We just get the day off school or work. We have Labour day where we just celebrate the new work laws, i.e. mother's rights, number of hours for full time and part time etc. We have Queen's Birthday which just celebrates the Queen (of England) birthday, even though we celebrate it no where near her actually birth date. We have anniversary day which is just for each province. Each area of NZ has an anniversary day and no work or school. I think that's all our holidays.
