About Me
I am 34years old. My X and I split up due to his infidelity. My explorer flipped and rolled several times. I got thrown over 100ft. While I was in coma, my x moved in a new girlfriend. Kids live with me. I haven't walked since June 5, 06. My children and I live with my parents because my accident was so extensive. I broke my back, crushed my rt arm, rt shoulder, broke both hips, Lt, hip replcmnt. Broke all my ribs, had something put in my heart to help filter it so it would not get blood clots. Had head injury which causes short term memory loss. I also had a spinal cord injury. I also had knee surgery in hopes that I will walk again. I want to learn how to walk again and start a new life for me and my kids.

Interests
First and foremost, I love spending time with my kids. Anything outdoors, fishing, swimming, boating, riding four wheelers with kids. Spending time with family is very important to me.

Hey Steph, man, Explorers aren't bargain cars, are they... Hey, I just bought a fixer upper house and I'm fixing it up. A coworker told me to thank the person who put in the hideous carpets. If they had put better carpets in, somebody with deeper pockets would have gotten the house. Cheers!

My husband and I were having problems but not to the extent I thought until I woke up from my coma and he had moved his gf in with him. So when I got out of hospital, my kids and I had to move in with my parents. I divorced him as soon as I could.

- My parents are the BEST that anyone could ask for. I had to move in with them because of the accident. My dad had a stroke a year before my wreck so he stays home with me.
- Talking Working / Worked
- It helps to talk about everything you go thru to other people. Allot of others are going through the same thing.
- Time Working / Worked
- I believe time and loads of medicine is the only thing that is going to put my stbx behind me and help me to walk again.
Close Chronic Pain
Currently in wheelchair. Due to all my injuries, I am always in pain. I have so many plates and screws I can always tell you when its going to rain.
Treatments
- Ambien Working / Worked
- 10mg at night. as needed
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- 60 mg daily
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- 60 mg daily
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- 200 mg day, very helpful.
- Methadone Working / Worked
- 60 mg day. Very helpful.
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- Had 4, none worked
- Neurontin Not Working
- I had to quit taking because it made my arms jerk back and forth.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Ongoing PT since accident.
Open Paralysis
I just recently am coming to terms with what paralysis I have. During my accident my pelvic area was crushed and had to heal on its own. My hip popped out of place after I already had it fixed and had to wait a year before I could have hip replacement surgery. After I had hip replacement surgery, it caused my left foot to go completely numb. Parts of my bladdar are also paralyzed. I have a spinalcord injury also.
