I am a fun, caring and very loving person. I teach high school special education and also just finished grad school. I now also have a masters degree in education. I'm looking forward to starting a family. I'm married to a wonderful man who is always so great to me. We are best friends and very close.I'm healthy and have no problems. Got my first BFP on 10/31/08.

I love my job, love to spend time with my husband, and I like to stay in shape. I enjoy reading, watching my favorite tv shows, and cooking. We are huge reality tv show fans. We also enjoy taking vacations to our favorite spot in Florida.

There really weren't any signs leading up to it. The doctor actually never even checked my cervix until the day I was in labor. The night before my back was achy and I was really uncomfortable, so that was the first sign. I actually had a doctor's appt. the day I went into labor. I was having contractions the whole day earlier, but they weren't that strong, so I didn't really think I was in labor. When I went to the doctor, they checked my cervix and I was already 6 cm. dilated! I was shocked. Collin was born 5 hours later.

I know how uncomfortable it is toward the end. I couldn't wait for Collin to be born. I was so glad that he was 10 days early. I know you live in IL, where are you delivering? I delivered at Evanston.

My husband had a vesoctomy from a first marriage. He had a reversal but scar tissue built up.He had sperm aspiration done.I'm young, healthy, and don't have any fertility problems.I had a D&C, Laparascopy, and a hysterocopy to remove a fibroid.Started IVF in January.Fresh transfer was cancelled due to hyperstimulation.BFN April 16th w/ a FET, BFN Aug 1st w/FET, BFN Sept 19th fresh cycle and BFP on October 31st!!Finally after 3 retrievals.Two fresh cycles and 2 Frozen cycles. Finally a BFP.
Treatments
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Taking this in the AM and PM through IVF.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- I am taking this shot in the AM at the same time as the follistim.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Went well. They found a polyp and wanted to remove it so it won't cause any future problems.
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Went well. They removed a fibroid on the outside of my uterus, a polyp inside my uterus, and removed very mild endometriosis. No fertility concerns. They said it was good to get this all done before going through IVF.
- Lupron Too Soon to Tell
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- The shots are better since they can be read in the blood test. They suck but you get used to them. They hurt once you've been on them for a long time.
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
First pregnancy. Got a BFP on 10/31/08 after going through 4 IVF tries.
