I have bipolar and social anxiety. I was diagnosed in 1992 after suffering a very severe breakdown. I took me a long time to accept the diagnosis and take me meds regularly. I went in and out of the hospital 4 times before I got stable by stopping drinking and taking me meds on a regular basis.
