    • About Me

      I am B.P. and would like to learn more about it, meet people who have same challenges that accompany our illness. I struggle accepting my BP and that I am disabled. I am here to meet people and get idea's about how to live life with this Illness. I no longer sit around manic starting business. But I do struggle with depression I am looking forward to meeting friends all over the Country, actually around the world. I have plenty of time and would love to email or talk. I do have 2 wonderful daughters, and a few close friends, I am fortunate!

      Spending time with my wonderful daughters, Quality healthcare for Mental Illness, Meeting new Bipolar friends, My Book, Reading, BP sites, Going to Coffee houses with my friends, people watching, The BP support group here on DS. I also enjoy casual dinning and day trips to the ocean.

      I appreciated your hug... so nice to hear from you.... winter so far has been ok given we have had more fall like weather... lol... I am trying to see the beauty of winter in spite of the chill that it brings... I enjoy seeing the wild bunnies near my home as their coats change color to blend in with the surroundings... the fox is also so beautiful when white... nature has a wonderful way of protecting animals from harm by blending them with their surroundings... take care (((hugs))) polar

    • Open Alcoholism

      I got sober by the grace of God and working the program of alcoholic's anonymous. I got on my knee's the first night and asked God to remove the compulsion, and it was gone. That was 1/24/1981. I have had many Joys and losses since that day, but I have not found it necessary to drink. I am one of the fortunate ones that did not relapse once I found AA. Before that I quit a thousand time but could never stay Quit. I think this is a great support system here on DS.
