I am still same as i was with the tieze's syndrome...pain relief has stopped working though :(

I went back to my GP last friday because its same, if not worse sometimes and in the middle of the night when i want to be sleeping im up walking round, thats the only thing that helps slightly!

My gp has put me on celebrex (an anti inflammatory) thats the only treatment there is for it...been on them a week today, its hard to say if they have helped cos im getting other pains, im just guessing theyre to do with tieze's. Gp said to go back in 2 weeks....so next friday....to see him, hes going to put me in for physio for it. Hes also requested a specialised bone scan to get to the bottom of my complaints about joints etc.....why is it my gp is doing the most for me and the crohns docs have hardly done anything!

Crohns docs tried to put me on another bone protector because one i was on was making me ill. the one he wanted to put me on is a cousin (as my gp said) of the one i was taking, therefore ill more than likely get same side effects!!!! Thank god for my GP!!!!! If it were'nt for him well i dunno lol!

I sit and think back to jan 2007 when i first called ambulance due to struggling to breath...yes i had the erethyma nudosm (however it is spelt) and bleeding from the rectum, but i had no stomach complaints....since they put me on all these meds im WORSE than i was!

I do wonder why im taking some of what i was prescribed sometimes, my crohns doc seems happy to put you on anything really.

Though i am worried about the codeine taking, ive been taking it for months now well a yr and half on and off...but past id say 3 months ive taken a lot due to pains, i worry what it is doing to my liver!!!!

Anyway, havent much more to say, thought id write a little update!

My acupuncturist reassures me that the liver is very, very resilient and self-repairing. He recommends dandelion tea, st mary's thistle infusion, and drinking warm water with lemon juice (just a bit) first thing in the morning.
My Crohn's doc isn't as supportive of that tho...
I hope you start to feel better very soon. *hugs* Emma xx
